00 SERIES OPENER (1200, 1500, 2000)

00 Series openers feature a proven welded box design, 13.5", 4mm blades mounted on 205 triple-lip sealed bearings, and have a ¼" lead opener blade for easier penetration in tough conditions.

10 SERIES OPENER (1510)

The 10HD Series is truly a heavy-duty opener with 15" opener blades and a 1/2" lead to penetrate easier. A full-length seed tube and trailing flap ensure the seed is “dead dropped” in the bottom of the trench. Parallel linkage keeps the openers level throughout their ten inches of travel, and multiple press wheel options are available to increase the efficiency of these drills in many soil types. The openers are designed with a lock-up feature to vary row spacing and an 18-position T-handle adjusts the depth.

20 SERIES OPENER (2020F & 2520F)

The Great Plains 20 Series openers are an excellent choice when planting in stale seedbed environments. Much like a planter row unit, this opener has 2" side-depth wheels for accurate depth control and consistent seed placement. The 20 Series openers are paired with the fluted feed metering (20F) system for accurate seeding rates and are available in specialty row spacings to match bedded fields.

GAUGE WHEEL DRIVE

Ensures speed sensitive seed metering. Frame height is also controlled with these large rib implement tires.

STAGGERED OPENERS

All openers are staggered 7" for maximum residue flow. You can easily access the openers from the rear of the machine. Hence, no more climbing under the drill to make routine depth adjustments.

FLUTED FEED CUPS

Provide gentle and even delivery of a wide variety of seed sizes and shapes.

4-SPEED GEARBOX

Changing seed rates is quick and effortless with these permanently lubricated, sealed gearboxes. (Available on 00 Series models and 1510)

Category 2, 3, and 3N hitch on a heavy-duty trussed mainframe provides unmatched strength and durability.

PRESS WHEEL OPTIONS

Choices include 3"x13" double rib, 3"x13" center rib, 2"x13" smooth, 1"x12" double V, and 1.25"x13" double wedge press wheels. Options vary with model and row spacings.

SINGLE OR DUAL GAUGE WHEELS

Choose between single or dual gauge wheels. Single gauge wheels can be ordered with either implement tires or heavy-duty skid steer tires.

T-DEPTH ADJUSTMENT

The exclusive T-handle depth control adjustment features 18 positions in 1/8" increments to set proper seed depth for almost any seed.

V-BOTTOM DIVIDERS

Dividers are designed for even and complete seed box cleanout and help to distribute all the seed to the seed cups. Seed cups are 13/4" wide with powdered metal flutes.

OPTIONAL SMALL SEEDS BOX ATTACHMENT

Mounts directly to the back of the main seed box. Utilizes a smaller version of the fluted feed cup to accurately meter tiny seeds like alfalfa and wildflowers.

OPTIONAL PRESS WHEEL SCRAPERS
